InnerSelf.com welcomes your inner Self
Things are not always (if ever) as they seem. There are many hidden truths (and untruths) in everything. And then, our own biases affect what we see, and understand as well. Our mind also interprets and fills in the blanks where it thinks it is needed. However, life is more simple than it appears to be in our convoluted world with its numerous add-ons for comfort, and convenience. Yet, the final outcome can be less comfort, and less convenience.
Awareness can be difficult to attain when we are being bombarded by the outside world... not only by what we see but by the subliminal and electronic messages that are constantly zooming through the air around us. Thus the need for silence, simplicity, and developing an inner peace that supercedes the noise and distractions of the outside world.
